Office Manager - Cape Coral

Heather was born in Decatur, Illinois. Traveling much over the United States, she went to high school and college in Northern New Jersey. During high school she became a lifeguard, working for the military base Picatinny Arsenal as well as achieving the title of flute section leader for her Group 3 open marching band. Upon graduating, she wanted to continue to serve her community and became an EMT.

Following family members, seeking the warmth and beauty of Florida, she moved to Southwest Florida in 2005. Besides spending quality time with her family and pets she enjoys a variety of hobbies such as reading, painting, playing music and kayaking.

Heather has been working with Dr. Cossentino since her move here to Florida. With 18 years of dental experience, she is dedicated to enhancing the patient and dental team experience and is readily available for any assistance you might need.

Office Manager - Ft. Myers

Dianna was born in Portsmouth, Virginia. Although she would consider herself a Native Floridian; she spent most of her younger days in Manila, Philippines. She moved to the States in her teens and has enjoyed Florida ever since. Dianna was involved in dance, the auxiliary team and excelled in drama & creative writing during her High School years. She graduated from Mariner High School, Cape Coral in 1990. Dianna has been in the dental field for over 30 years. Before working at Surfside, she was a Regional Manager over 50+ employees and doctors. She aspires for every patient to have a great experience at the office. Her years of dental experience and customer service shows in every interaction with our patients. Dianna feels right at home in this “mom & pop” environment office.

Dianna has been happily married to her husband John, of 22 years. She has 3 beautiful children ranging in age from 32 to 12. Outside of work she enjoys, photography, scrapbooking and cooking. Dianna spends most of her weekends on ballfields watching her youngest play ball.

Hygienist

Born in the desert warmth of Arizona, I made the transition to the sandy shores of Southwest Florida at the age of six. It's here that I've rooted myself, building a life filled with accomplishments and cherished moments. In 2009, I proudly graduated with honors from Edison State College, marking the culmination of years of dedication and hard work in my academic pursuits. Following graduation, I found my professional home at Surfside Dental in 2012, where I've been committed to providing top-notch dental care to our community ever since.

Beyond my professional endeavors, my personal life is rich with love and joy. Celebrating over two decades of marriage, my husband and I have nurtured a beautiful family, blessed with a teenage son. In the precious moments of leisure that I manage to carve out, you'll often find me lost in the pages of a captivating book, indulging in the magic of storytelling. Equally cherished are the times spent with my beloved family and friends, creating long lasting memories.

Hygienist

Edma began her career in the dental field over 20 years ago as a Dental Assistant. She obtained her degree in Dental Hygiene from Florida Southwestern State College in 2008. For most of her life she has lived in the beautiful sunshine state of Florida, but she is originally from Haiti. She is passionate about dental health and also love serving her community in such a unique way. She spends a lot of time with patients to educate and encourage them to maintain good periodontal health. She strives to make patients feel at ease by building confidence, trust and friendship with each patient. In her spare time she enjoys going to church with her family, travel, and watching movies.

Hygienist

A seasoned dental professional with two decades of experience, I relocated to Florida in 2017, alongside my two children. Dentistry runs in my blood, as both my parents are retired dentists, instilling in me a passion for oral health care from a young age. Beyond the dental chair, we love our time out on the sunshine state's waters, where my family and I enjoy spending quality time together.

Alongside our aquatic adventures, we share a fondness for equestrian sports, having previously competed nationally with our beloved horses. Whether tending to smiles or savoring moments with loved ones, I find fulfillment in both professional excellence and cherished family memories.

Born in Columbia and raised in Southwest Florida, I've spent the past seven years dedicated to the field of dental hygiene, specializing in anesthesia administration.

Beyond my professional life, I find joy in exploring new destinations through travel and maintaining a healthy lifestyle with pilates.

I was born in New Jersey but grew up in Southwest Florida. I have always had a passion for helping others. In 2018, I graduated with honors from Florida Southwestern State College with an Associate of Science degree in Dental Hygiene. I also earned my certification to administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide.

As a professional dental hygienist, I am an educator and an oral health advocate to both my patients and my community. The oral health of my patients is very important and I personally try to educate each individual with the best of my knowledge. Overall, I aim to increase the awareness of oral health, help patients attain a state of optimal health and provide my patients with a gentle cleaning. Apart from dentistry, I am also a lover of the ocean, adventures, and traveling. I love making new memories with my family and friends whether I am swimming with sharks in Bimini, taking in the views of clear waters in Turks and Caicos, or hang gliding in Brazil. I am extremely grateful to work for Surfside Dental where we strive to provide exceptional dental care.

I've been loving the experience of being a certified dental assistant for the last 20 years. In my spare time I love to read and dance. I find the most fulfillment in my volunteer work. It keeps me focused and happy to help others.

A graduate of Cape Coral Technical College, I have honed my skills in assisting dental procedures and ensuring smooth clinic operations. Fluent in both English and Spanish, I bridge communication gaps effectively to ensure all patients receive comprehensive care.

Originally from Cuba, my multicultural background enriches my interactions and patient care. When not at work, I enjoy spending time at the gym, studying and spending time with my family.

Certified Dental Assistant

Originally from Cuba, I relocated to Florida in 2016, where I pursued my passion for dental healthcare. Graduating from Cape Coral Technical College equipped me with the skills necessary to excel in my role as a dental assistant. Since 2022, I have been dedicated to providing care to patients at Surfside Dental.

Fluent in both English and Spanish, I ensure effective communication with diverse clientele. Alongside my professional endeavors, I love spending quality time with my family, as I've been happily married for 11 years.

Certified Dental Assistant

Samantha joins Surfside Dental in December 2023. She was born and raised in southwest Florida. Samantha received her EFDA, CDA, and radiology certificate from Cape Coral Technical College. She hopes to continue her education in dental hygiene. In her free time she enjoys serving at her church and playing pickleball!

Dental Assistant

Faith joined Surfside Dental of Fort Myers in 2023. Faith was born in Virginia and raised in Cape Coral, Florida. Faith graduated from Cape Coral Technical College in 2023 and earned her expanded functions dental assisting certification. She also has experience in oral surgery before coming to Surfside Dental.

Faith is truly passionate about the dental field. She strives to provide a comforting environment for patients. In her free time, she likes to paint and be outdoors whether it is walking her dog or being by the water.

Front office administration/ Certified Dental Assistant

A Florida resident since 2000, I've established myself as a dedicated professional in the dental field, holding certification as a dental assistant for over 20 years. Since 2014, I've been an integral part of Surfside Dental, working alongside the front and back-office teams. Along with my professional pursuits, I am happily married and a proud parent of two children. In my leisure time, I enjoy live music and practicing yoga.

Office Support

Jordan joined Surfside dental in September of two thousand 2023. She was born and raised in Fort Myers, Florida. She is currently a senior at Fort Myers High School on her way to graduate in May with her class of 2024. She is furthering her education at Florida Gulf Coast University in the fall of 2024 for her major in health sciences and is intending to transfer to the hygiene program at Florida southwestern once finished with her degree.

She is very eager and excited to pursue her future career in dental hygiene. In her free time she enjoys traveling with family and friends, photography, and flower pressing!

Born and raised here in Southwest Florida, I have always loved the warmth of community and family values instilled in me. Growing up under the guidance of my grandfather, a revered pastor in our close-knit community, I learned the importance of compassion and service from an early age.

Professionally, I've been part of the Surfside Dental team since 2021, where I leverage a decade's worth of experience in customer service. My commitment to providing the highest level of service is unwavering, driven by a genuine desire to make a positive difference in people's lives. Outside of the workplace, I enjoy boating, traveling, and spending time with my family and friends.
